What Is the RI Expert Network?
The network is a curated global pool of professionals collaborating on research, consulting, and capacity-building initiatives led by RI and its partners. Members bring diverse expertise across agricultural development, gender integration, systems thinking, scaling, responsible innovation, and field implementation.
By joining, experts gain visibility, access to collaborations, and opportunities to contribute to proposals, consultancies, thought leadership, and global partnerships. Every RI expert is committed to advancing equitable food systems through inclusive and responsible innovation.
Where We Come From
The RI Expert Network was originally launched by scientists at the University of California, Davis, and has grown through nearly two decades of collaboration with universities and national agricultural research systems in West and East Africa, Asia, and Central America.
We maintain deep partnerships with U.S.-based universities, the CGIAR, Wageningen University, and leading research institutions across the globe.
Responsible Innovations was founded to bridge a crucial gap in the global innovation ecosystem: ensuring innovations scale responsibly, equitably, and effectively. Our evidence-based approach ensures technological advances also advance people—particularly those historically left behind.
What You Can Expect
Joining the RI Expert Network provides opportunities to connect with a high-caliber, multidisciplinary community. While network membership does not guarantee paid work or contracts, it offers meaningful pathways for collaboration, visibility, and professional growth.
We encourage members to propose and co-develop new ideas, research concepts, and funding opportunities. As a collective, we are stronger together and more competitive when we collaborate.
How to Join the Expert Network
We welcome new members on a rolling basis.
All who complete these steps will be added to our internal database. Inclusion in the network does not imply or guarantee employment, contracting, or compensation.
We look forward to learning more about your work and staying connected as new opportunities develop!
