Dr. Penina Yumbya is a food systems expert and Agricultural Scientist with over 12 years of experience in agricultural research, stakeholder engagement, and agribusiness development across East Africa. Passionate about empowering small-scale producers and youth, she leads programs that enhance productivity, capacity strengthening, postharvest handling, and market access. As a Nutrition and Food Systems Scientist at ICED, she drives evidence-based solutions for building resilient food systems.
