Konrad has strong connections to the Balkans, Caucasus, and Central Asia through agronomic and soil related work over the last 2 years. His technical experience in soils and agronomy have meshed well with his experience in International Agricultural Development, giving him a thorough understanding of a wide range of agricultural systems. He previously worked for nearly 8 years as an Extension Agent with the University of California Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources where he combined his passion for soils with his experience as an educator and facilitator. When not working directly with farmers and agricultural stakeholders, Konrad enjoys finding ways to hike and surf where possible.
