Lilian is a seasoned academic and Agricultural Economist with over 15 years of experience across sub-Saharan Africa and Europe. She works from a gender-equitable perspective and is an expert on GBV in agrifood systems, specializing in financial inclusion for SMEs in the sector, policy analysis, and impact evaluations. She has led food systems interventions at UN agencies, f inancial inclusion pilots with the World Bank IEG, and impact evaluations of agricultural projects with Mathematica, Abts Associates, and Palladium. When not on the field in hard-toreach locations, she documents people’s lived experiences through art-based narratives and a variety of media tools.
